Our founders share a deep commitment to providing a world-class facility that caters to golfers of all skill levels. With their expertise and dedication, they are excited to make Bridgeport Golf Club a premier destination for golfers on the south side of Chicago.
S. Fernando Mastroianni, Partner
Born in Calabria, Italy, and raised in a large family in Schenectady, New York, Fernando learned the importance of hard work and community early on. After moving to Chicago in 1995, he embarked on a career in international business.
At the Crescent Cardboard Company, Fernando helped expand the company’s market into Europe. This experience laid the foundation for his future entrepreneurial endeavors.
In 2007, Fernando founded Blackbird Picture Framing in Ravenswood, Chicago. The COVID-19 pandemic inspired him to open Chicago Golf and Social Club to provide a safe and fun activity for his son’s high school golf team. This venture quickly grew into a popular indoor golf facility, now known as Chicago Club Makers.
In 2024, Fernando was proud to partner with Frank Citro to open Ravenswood Golf Club, a state-of-the-art golf facility in the Ravenswood neighborhood of Chicago. The duo shared a commitment to exceptional customer service and a “do what it takes” mentality.
Fernando’s latest venture is Bridgeport Golf Club, where he has partnered again with Frank, Tim and tech guru Greg Pace. The team aims to create a welcoming space for golfers of all levels to train, socialize, and improve their game.
Frank Citro, Partner
Originally from Alsip, IL, Frank spent most of his early years on the South Side. A graduate of Brother Rice High School and lifelong White Sox fan, he’s always been rooted in a blue-collar work ethic and mentality of caring for people.
His time in logistics has honed his ability to keep customers happy and stay on top of an ever-changing industry. However, his love of golf led him to Fernando and the booming indoor golf scene.
Their first venture together, Ravenswood Golf Club, opened in early 2024 and as of this message, is nearing a full membership and waitlist for 2025.
He looks to bring the same mindset and approach to Bridgeport Golf Club that has proven so successful in Ravenswood:

Tim Overman, Partner/PGA Instructor
A graduate of the prestigious Golf Academy of the South, Tim holds a degree in Advanced Teaching and Biomechanics. As a Tour Fitting Professional for Mizuno Golf, he traveled on the Mizuno tour van where he mastered the art and science of custom club fitting. Tim is also an SPi Certified Instructor for Seemore Putter Company which certifies him to teach the Seemore system and the teachings of Pat O’Brien. This learning system has trained multiple major championship winners.
Greg Pace, Tech Guru
Greg Pace is a tech-savvy partner at Bridgeport Golf Club, and brings the team a wealth of technical expertise and a passion for problem-solving. With a keen eye for detail and a knack for efficiency, Greg ensures that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and seamlessly.
From building custom computers for our state-of-the-art golf bays to managing our websites and tee time booking platform, Greg is dedicated to enhancing the member experience. His obsessive passion for golf allows him to understand the unique needs of our golfing community.
When he’s not tinkering with technology or managing the bays, Greg can be found in the workshop, crafting custom golf clubs for himself and his friends. His meticulous attention to detail and unwavering dedication to perfection are evident in every club he builds.
